Graduating high school
It’s the first step toward higher education. We offer $5,000 scholarships to graduating high school senior planning to attend a Michigan college or university to pursue a bachelor’s degree.
Continuing education
We offer $2,500 continuing education scholarship to students furthering in studies.
Skilled trades
Skilled trades play an important role in Michigan’s economy. We offer $2,500 scholarships for students seeking vocational training or certification through accredited programs.
Essay question
Tell us how you demonstrate the credit union value of “people helping people” including a time when you have given back or made a difference in your school or in your community. How will you continue to “Give Big” after you graduate.
Scholarship application checklist
Get ready to show how you GIVE BIG.
To be eligible, all applicants must:
- Plan on attending a Michigan college, university, or trade school
- In the credit union spirit of “people helping people,” demonstrate how you GIVE BIG through volunteering in your school or community
- What are your future plans to give back and have an impact in your community after you graduate?
- Share reported household income (you and your family)
- Graduating high school? Share an important teacher or leader who could speak positively about you
- Commit to stay in Michigan, be a part of our great workforce, and make a difference in our beautiful state
